Sailrite kits come complete with all sewing supplies and sailmaker's hardware. Panels are cut and marked for seaming by their 45 foot long flat bed plotter. Even the corner reinforcements are cut and ready to apply. Customers baste all seams together with a special double sided tape ("Seamstick") before they are sewn. This results in beautiful, smoothly curved surfaces throughout the sail. You should expect a sail that looks and performs as well as any produced professionally. Expect the quotes provided by Sailarite to quite accurate including a list of options. However, it is a good idea to contact Jeff Frank at Sailrite to review everything (Call 800-348-2769 ). No special tools are required for this sail other than scissors, sewing machine and a hotknife is recommended.
